City of David and underground Jerusalem 

The City of David is the birthplace of Jerusalem city, the place where King David established his kingdom, and where the history of the People of Israel was written.

First, we will visit the "Ariel Center", the First Temple Period museum, situated in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, and then we will depart the Old City for the City of David.

We will begin with an overview of the Yehushafat Valley, passing thru King David's palace, and will descend into Hezekiah's Tunnel, or the Siloam Tunnel, viewing old burial caves on the way to Siloam Pool.

The last site, from the Second Temple period, is the "Herodian Channel". We will enter the Herodian Channel, which leads towards the Western Wall and finishes at the foot of Robinson's Arch, in the Archeological Park (Davidson Center).

The excavations can still be seen in different areas around the Temple Mount and in the City of David.
